Barnaby's Blue Soup

Barnaby was a small wizard.

He lived in a tall blue tower.

Barnaby loved to make magic soup.

Today, he wanted to make blue soup.

He put a big pot on the stove.

He threw in a yellow flower.

The soup turned bright yellow.

"Oh no," Barnaby said. "That is not blue!"

He looked in his big magic book.

He saw a picture of a blue berry.

Barnaby ran outside to the garden.

He found ten small blue berries.

He put the berries into the pot.

The soup began to bubble and pop.

It turned a lovely shade of blue.

Barnaby took a big spoon to taste it.

The soup tasted like sweet fruit.

It made Barnaby feel very happy.

He shared the soup with his cat.

The cat was happy too.

Barnaby washed his big black hat.

He cleaned up his magic kitchen.

Making magic was a lot of work.

But it was also a lot of fun.
