Junie was a small jellyfish. She lived in the deep, blue ocean.
Her body was soft and clear. She looked like a little blue bell floating in the water.
Junie did not have any bones. She did not have a heart or a brain.
She just moved with the waves. The water pushed her along every day.
Junie had long, thin arms. They were called tentacles.
She used them to catch tiny bits of food. They hung down like ribbons.
One day, the sun was very bright. The light made the water look like gold.
Junie swam up to the top. She liked to feel the warm water.
A big sea turtle swam past her. The turtle was very fast.
"Hello!" Junie wanted to say. But jellyfish do not talk.
She just waved her long arms. The turtle went on his way.
Later, the sky turned dark. It was time for the moon to come out.
Junie began to glow. She turned a bright pink color in the dark sea.
She looked like a tiny light bulb. Other fish saw her glow.
A small crab watched her from the sand. He thought she looked very pretty.
Junie was happy to be a jellyfish. She loved to drift in the sea.
She went back down to the deep water. It was time for a long rest.
The ocean was quiet and calm. Junie fell fast asleep in the waves.
She dreamed of the blue water. She was a happy little bell in the sea.
