Sammy the Shark lived in the blue sea.
He was a very happy shark.
One day, Sammy found something on the sand.
It was a pair of bright yellow sunglasses.
Sammy put the glasses on his nose.
He looked in a shiny shell.
"I look so cool!" Sammy said with a big grin.
He swam to the coral reef to show his friends.
The little fish saw Sammy coming.
They saw his dark glasses and his big teeth.
"Oh no! A cool shark!" said Pip the perch.
The fish all hid behind a big green rock.
Sammy felt a little bit sad.
He wanted to play tag with his friends.
"Why are you hiding?" Sammy asked them.
His voice was soft and kind.
Pip looked out from the big rock.
"We could not see your kind eyes," Pip said.
Sammy took off the yellow sunglasses.
He gave a small, friendly wave.
"I like my glasses, but I like my friends more," Sammy said.
The fish came out to play in the sun.
They all swam circles in the warm water.
It was a very good day for a shark.
