Our Special Home in Space

Earth is a very special place. It is the planet where we live.

It looks like a blue marble from far away. Most of the Earth is covered in water.

Earth moves around the Sun all the time. The Sun is a huge, hot star.

It gives our planet light and heat. Without the Sun, Earth would be very cold.

The Moon is Earth's closest friend in space. It travels around our planet.

Sometimes the Moon looks like a bright circle. Other nights it looks like a thin line.

Earth is part of a big family of planets. These planets all go around the Sun.

Our planet has air that we can breathe. It has the right food and water for us.

Space is very big and very dark. Earth is just one small part of it.

We must take good care of our beautiful home. It is a wonderful place to be.
