A Big Roar at the Zoo

One sunny day, Leo went to the big zoo. He went with his kind mom.

They walked on the long path. Leo looked at all the animals.

They saw the tall giraffes first. The giraffes had very long necks.

Then they saw the silly monkeys. The monkeys jumped and played.

Leo wanted to see one thing. He wanted to see a big lion.

"Is the lion over there?" Leo asked his mom.

They walked to a large rock. A huge lion sat on top of the rock.

The lion had long hair on his neck. His fur was bright gold.

The lion looked at the bright sun. He opened his big mouth very wide.

"Roar!" said the king of the zoo. The sound was very loud.

Leo felt the ground shake. He did not run away at all.

Leo was a very brave boy. He waved at the big lion.

The lion looked at Leo and blinked. Then the lion went to sleep.

"That was the best day ever," Leo said. He was very happy.
