A Butterfly's First Flight

A Butterfly's First Flight
Once upon a time, in a garden filled with colorful flowers, lived a little caterpillar named Carl. Carl loved to munch on leaves. He ate and ate, growing bigger each day.
One sunny morning, Carl felt sleepy. He made a cozy little home around himself, called a chrysalis. Inside, something amazing was happening! He stayed inside for many days.
Then, one day, the chrysalis cracked open. Out came Carl, but he wasn't a caterpillar anymore! He was a beautiful butterfly with bright, colorful wings. He stretched his wings, and they felt new.
Carl looked around at the garden. He saw the flowers, the trees, and the other butterflies. He was ready for his first flight! He flapped his wings up and down, slowly at first, then faster and faster.
Up, up, up he went! Carl flew around the garden, landing on each flower. He sipped the sweet nectar. He was so happy to be a butterfly. He waved to his friends and said, "Look at me! I can fly!"
From that day on, Carl the butterfly flew around the garden, bringing joy to everyone he met.
