Building a Tall Castle!

Let's build a tall castle! To build a castle, we need tools. Tools help us do big jobs. Some tools are very simple. We call them simple machines.

Which One?

Which simple machine is best for building our castle? Some people think it's the lever. A lever helps us lift heavy things. But is it the best for a castle?

Other people say it's the wheel and axle. Wheels help us move things far away. We can put rocks on a cart. The cart has wheels! But is this best?

I think the wedge is best! A wedge is like a triangle. We can use it to split wood. We need wood to build walls. Wedges can also help shape stones to fit together nice and tight! This is why I think a wedge is super important for building a tall, strong castle. The castle will be safe, because the wedge helped us make it so!

So, the wedge is the best helper for our castle. It makes strong walls. What do you think?
