Echoes of Tombstone
Narrator: Welcome to Tombstone, Arizona! The year is 1881. Just a few years ago, this dusty mesa was home to nothing but cactus and tumbleweeds. But after silver was discovered in the hills, Tombstone quickly grew into one of the wildest, richest boomtowns in the American West. Let's step onto the wooden boardwalks of Allen Street and meet some of the locals.
Sheriff Thomas: (Adjusting his star badge) Keep your eyes open, folks. Tombstone is growing faster than a desert wildfire. Every day, the stagecoach rolls into town carrying eager prospectors, merchants, and sometimes, a few troublemakers. My job is to keep the peace, which is no easy task when the town is bursting at the seams!
Clara: (Wiping her hands on her apron) It certainly is busy, Sheriff! My bakery has been sold out of fresh sourdough bread by noon every single day this week. People are arriving from all over the world to work in the silver mines. They are hungry, and they have silver coins burning holes in their pockets.
