Have you ever seen a city right by the water? Tacoma, in Washington State, is one of those special places! It's a city with a busy waterfront, full of cool things to see and do.

Tacoma is right next to Puget Sound, which is a big body of water that connects to the Pacific Ocean. Because of this, Tacoma is a port city. A port is like a parking lot for ships. There are parks where you can play, restaurants where you can eat yummy food, and even museums where you can learn about the ocean.
