How to Play the Mystery Desk Detective Game

Mystery Desk Detective is an active listening game designed for small groups under a teacher's supervision. In this activity, players practice using precise descriptions to identify common classroom supplies without seeing them first. Because safety is the top priority, players never touch hidden objects blindly, and no sharp, heavy, or breakable items are ever used. Instead, detectives must rely entirely on clear spoken clues to solve each case.

Before starting the game, gather the following basic materials:
- One clean, empty shoe box with a lid (called the "Case File Box").
