Are you ready for an adventure that is out of this world? This summer, the Sunnyvale Community Center is proud to present the most exciting event of the year: The Super Science Summer Camp! Our camp is designed for curious kids who love to ask 'why?' and 'how?' If you enjoy getting your hands messy and discovering how the world works, then this is the perfect place for you.
At Super Science Camp, every day is a brand new discovery. In the mornings, campers will head to the Robotics Lab. There, you will work with a partner to build your very own battery-powered robot. You will learn how to make it move, spin, and even avoid obstacles. It is like bringing a toy to life using the power of engineering!
After a healthy snack break, we move to the Chemistry Corner. This is where things get really colorful. You will mix safe ingredients to create glowing slime, erupting volcanoes, and giant bubbles that do not pop easily. Our instructors will show you the secrets behind these amazing reactions. Don't worry about the mess—that is part of the fun!
The highlights of the week are our Great Rocket Launches. On Friday afternoon, every camper gets to launch a water-powered rocket into the sky. We will see whose rocket can soar the highest above the trees. It is a thrilling way to end a week of hard work and learning.
The Super Science Summer Camp runs from July 10th to July 14th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The cost is $150 per student, which includes all supplies and a cool camp t-shirt. Space is limited to only twenty campers per session to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate.
Do not miss out on the chance to become a junior scientist this summer! Ask your parents to visit our website or call the front desk to register today. We cannot wait to see what you will create!
