Less Homework, More Fun!

Dear Teachers,

I am writing to you because I think we should have less homework. I am in second grade, and I like to learn. But sometimes, homework makes me sad.

When we have too much homework, we do not have time to play. Playing is how we learn too. We learn to share and make friends. We learn to be fair.

Also, I like to spend time with my family. We like to read books together. We like to cook and eat dinner. If I have too much homework, I can't do these things.

I think homework is good sometimes. It helps us practice what we learn in class. But too much homework is not good. It makes us tired and sad.

Please think about giving us less homework. We will have more time to play. We will have more time with our families. And we will still learn a lot!

Thank you for listening.

Sincerely,

Ethan Parker
