Maya helps Mom in the kitchen. She puts the spoons on the table.

Her dad is a very funny man. He tells silly jokes at the table.

Maya has a little brother named Sam. Sam is three years old today.

They play with many colorful blocks. Sam likes the big blue blocks best.

Maya helps Sam build a tall tower. The tower goes up to the sky.

In the afternoon, the family goes outside. The sun is big and very warm.

Mom helps Maya on the swings. Maya kicks her legs to go high.

Dad kicks a white soccer ball. Sam runs fast to catch the ball.

They have a small dog named Pip. Pip likes to bark and jump around.

Pip chases the ball in the green grass. Everyone laughs when Pip gets muddy.

At night, they all eat dinner together. They talk about the fun they had.

Maya tells Mom about the tall tower. Sam tells Dad about the muddy dog.

After dinner, it is time for bed. Mom reads a long story to Maya.

The book is about a brave little cat. Maya looks at the pretty pictures.

Dad tucks Maya into her warm bed. He gives her a big, soft hug.

Maya feels very happy in her house. She loves her kind and funny family.
