My Best Mother's Day Ever!
Interviewer: Hi there! Can you tell us about your most fun Mother's Day?
Mom: Oh, I would love to! My favorite Mother's Day was just last year.
It was so special and full of surprises.
My children, Lily and Tom, woke me up early.
Interviewer: How lovely! What did they do first?
Mom: First, they brought me breakfast in bed! It was toast with jam and a glass of orange juice.
They made it themselves. It tasted extra yummy because they made it with love.
Interviewer: That sounds wonderful! Did they give you any gifts?
Mom: Yes, they did! After breakfast, they gave me a big, colorful card.
They had drawn pictures of our whole family on it.
Inside, it said, "We love you, Mom!"
They also gave me a small pot with a sunflower seed.
They said we could plant it together in the garden.
Interviewer: What a thoughtful present! What did you do for the rest of the day?
Mom: Well, after the gifts, we went to our favorite park.
We packed a picnic lunch with sandwiches, apples, and cookies.
At the park, we played on the swings and slid down the big slide.
Lily and Tom even pushed me on the swing! We laughed so much.
Interviewer: That sounds like a perfect day! Anything else fun happen?
Mom: We found a shiny feather near the pond. It was blue and green!
We sat on a blanket and ate our picnic. The sun was warm on our faces.
Later, we went home and planted the sunflower seed.
It was a special job to do together.
Interviewer: What made it your most fun Mother's Day?
Mom: It wasn't just one thing. It was all the little things they did.
They planned everything themselves. It made me feel very loved and happy.
Spending time with my children is the best gift of all.
Every moment was a happy memory.
