Attention All Sixth-Grade Students:

Are you curious about how simple wheeled machines navigate obstacle courses? Have you ever wanted to try steering a battery-powered rover across a marked course with a crew of classmates? Oak Creek Middle School is pleased to host our first annual Beginner Robot Relay on Friday afternoon, November 14. This event is designed specifically for sixth-graders who want to learn the basics of teamwork, mechanics, and course driving in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

No prior coding or engineering experience is necessary. In fact, this event is planned as an introduction for beginners. Read the details below to learn who can take part, how equipment is handled, when practice sessions meet, and how to claim your spot.

Who Can Join and Team Arrangements

Any sixth-grade student currently enrolled at Oak Creek Middle School in good academic standing may participate. Because space on the course floor is limited, we have room for exactly twelve teams, with four students per team, creating a total cap of forty-eight participants.
