Room 3B Paper-Craft Morning Announcement

Attention all third-grade students, families, and classroom helpers! Mark your calendars for our upcoming Room 3B Paper-Craft Morning. On Friday morning, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, our classroom will transform into a lively art studio. Students will spend the morning exploring the art of paper crafts, practicing careful measuring, folding colorful sheets, and building a giant paper collage to hang on our hallway display board.
During this special event, students will rotate through three fun craft stations. At the first station, you will practice precision folding to make geometric animal bookmarks and hopping paper frogs. At the second station, you will design three-dimensional pop-up cards using accordion folds and paper springs. At the third station, you will arrange bright paper strips to construct a mosaic picture. Each station helps us practice following multi-step directions while creating original artwork.
You do not need to buy any new supplies for this event. Our classroom will provide all necessary materials, including:
- Heavy cardstock in a wide variety of bright colors
- Lightweight, patterned origami paper squares
- Washable glue sticks and liquid glue
