Barnaby was a very cute sheep. He lived on a big green farm.
His wool was white and very soft. It looked like a fluffy cloud in the sun.
Every morning, Barnaby woke up early. He liked to jump in the clover.
His little legs were short and strong. He was the fastest sheep on the farm.
The sun was high in the blue sky now. It was time for a long nap.
Barnaby looked for a good place to sleep. He walked past the big red barn.
He saw his best friend, Bella. Bella was eating some sweet green grass.
"Hello, Bella," said Barnaby. "Do you know a soft spot for a nap?"
Bella looked around the big field. She wagged her little tail.
"Try the spot by the tall oak tree," she said. "The grass there is very thick."
Barnaby walked to the big tree. The leaves made a nice dark shadow.
He felt the soft green ground with his feet. It felt very good.
Barnaby found a pile of yellow hay. He pushed it with his nose.
He wanted to make a bed. He made a circle in the grass.
This was the perfect place for a sheep. He lay down in the cool shade.
The grass felt like a warm blanket on his tummy. Barnaby felt very safe.
He watched a small butterfly fly past. It was bright yellow.
The farm was very quiet and still. Barnaby was a happy little sheep.
Soon, his heavy eyes began to close. He breathed in the fresh air.
He was fast asleep under the tree. It was a lovely day for a nap.
