This big tree can grow high up to the sky. It has strong gray bark and bright green leaves.

In the warm spring, the tree grows pretty flowers. The flowers look like small cups.

They are green with bright orange and yellow spots. They look just like real tulip flowers that grow in a garden!

Bees and birds love these sweet flowers. They visit the tree to get yummy juice called nectar.

The tulip poplar is a very special tree. It is the official state tree for three states!
