The Busy Life of Bees

Have you ever seen a busy bee? Bees are small insects that fly.

They have bright yellow and black stripes. You can hear them buzz in the garden.

Bees love to visit colorful flowers. They look for sweet juice called nectar.

This sweet juice is their favorite food. They use it to make sweet honey.

As bees fly, they carry yellow dust. This yellow dust is called pollen.

The dust sticks to their fuzzy legs. They drop some dust on new flowers.

This helps new flowers and plants grow. We need bees to help our plants.

Bees live together in a big home. Their home is called a hive.

One special bee is the queen bee. She is the mother of all the other bees.

The worker bees do all the hard jobs. They build the hive and find food.

They also keep the hive very clean. The worker bees fly fast to protect their home.

Bees are very important helper bugs. They help grow the fruits we like to eat.

We should always be nice to bees. They are good friends to our earth.
