I have a pet hamster. His name is Nugget.
Nugget is small and round. He has soft brown fur.
Nugget is a very funny pet. He does silly things every day.
He loves to eat seeds. He hides them in his cheeks.
His cheeks get very big and puffy. He looks like a little ball.
He tries to walk but he wiggles. It makes me laugh a lot.
Nugget has a big blue wheel. He runs on it every night.
The wheel goes squeak, squeak, squeak. He runs very fast.
Sometimes he stops to take a nap. He curls up into a tiny ball.
He likes to hide in my old blue sock. It is his best bed.
One day, I could not find him. I looked in his cage.
I looked under his little house. I felt a wiggle in my shoe.
Nugget was taking a nap there! He looked so cozy and cute.
