Bella and the Rainbow

Bella was a little butterfly. She had bright blue wings.

Bella loved to fly in the warm sun. She liked to look for pretty colors.

One day, the sky grew dark. Soft rain began to fall from the clouds.

Bella hid under a big green leaf. She waited for the wet rain to stop.

Soon, the bright sun came back out. Bella flew up into the clean, blue sky.

She saw something wonderful in the air. It was a very big, cute rainbow!

The rainbow had red, orange, and yellow. It had green, blue, and purple too.

"Wow!" Bella said. "You are so beautiful!"

The rainbow seemed to smile at the little butterfly. Bella flew close to the red stripe.

She felt very happy. The world was full of bright colors today.

Bella waved her blue wings at her new friend. Then, she flew home to tell her family.
