Pip's Rainbow Sky

Pip was a little brown bunny. He sat by his window and watched the rain fall.

Plip, plop, went the wet drops. Pip wanted to go outside and play in the green grass.

Soon, the gray rain stopped falling. The bright yellow sun came out of the clouds.

Pip ran out of his cozy house. The grass was wet, but the air felt very warm.

Pip looked up at the blue sky. He gasped and pointed his little paw.

A giant arc of color was painted across the sky. It was a beautiful, bright rainbow.

He saw red, orange, and yellow. He saw green, blue, and purple too.

"Look, Mom!" Pip called out. His mom hopped over to him and smiled.

"The sun is shining through the wet air," Mom said. "That is how a rainbow is made."

Pip and his mom sat together on the grass. They watched the colors glow in the sky.

"It is like a big hug from the sky," Pip said. Mom hugged Pip, and they watched the rainbow fade away.
