Oak Creek Elementary School Notice

To: All Fifth Grade Students
From: Mr. Alvarez, Music Department
Date: October 4
Subject: Welcome to the Fifth Grade Lunchtime Choir Club

Do you find yourself humming tunes while working on math problems? Have you ever wanted to try singing in a musical group, but felt nervous because you do not know how to read sheet music? You are in luck. Starting next Tuesday, the Oak Creek Music Department is hosting an introductory, beginner-friendly choir session designed specifically for fifth graders.

Who Can Join?

This program is open to every fifth-grade student. You do not need any previous musical experience, and there are absolutely no auditions required. Whether you can already belt out your favorite pop song or you only sing along with your family in the car, your voice is welcome. Choir is not about having a solo-worthy voice right away; it is about learning how different voices blend together to create harmonies. If you are curious about how music works, this club is for you.

When and Where We Meet

The initial preview session will take place on Tuesday, October 11, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Music Room (Room 14).
