Going back to school is very exciting. You will see old friends and meet your new teacher.

Here is how you can get ready for your big first day!

Step 1: Pack Your Backpack Find your backpack the night before school starts. Put your pencils, crayons, and notebooks inside.

Do not forget your folder. Zip your backpack up so nothing falls out.

Step 2: Pick Out Your Clothes Choose the clothes you want to wear. Pick a shirt, pants, and clean socks.

Lay your clothes on a chair. Now you will not have to look for them in the morning.

Step 3: Go to Bed Early It is good to sleep early before a school day. Turn off the light and close your eyes.

A good sleep gives you power for the morning. You will wake up feeling full of energy.

Step 4: Eat a Healthy Breakfast Wake up when your family calls you. Wash your hands and face with warm water.

Eat a yummy breakfast like fruit, toast, or cereal. A good meal helps your brain work hard at school.

Step 5: Put On Your Shoes and Smile! Put on your shoes and fasten them tight. Grab your backpack and head out the door.

Smile big and get ready for a great school day! You are all set for a wonderful day of learning.
