How to Make a Fall Garland
Fall is a fun time for crafts.
You can bring the warm colors of fall inside your home.
Making a paper garland is easy and fun.
Follow these steps to make your own fall room decor!
Things You Need:
- Red, yellow, orange, and brown paper
- Child-safe scissors
- Crayons or markers
- A long piece of yarn or string
- Tape or glue
Step 1: Draw and Cut Shapes
Draw big leaves on your colored paper.
You can also draw acorn shapes.
Use your scissors to cut each shape out carefully.
Make sure to cut out lots of leaves and acorns!
Step 2: Add Fun Patterns
Pick up your crayons or markers.
Draw lines, dots, or stripes on each leaf.
You can make cute faces or zigzags on the acorns.
Use bright colors to make each piece stand out.
Step 3: Line Up Your Pieces
Lay your string flat on a table or the floor.
Spread your paper shapes next to the string.

Leave a little space between each shape.
Step 4: Attach to the String
Flip each paper shape over to the back.
Place the string across the top of each shape.
