How to Make a Paper Bag Pal

Things You Need
- One clean paper lunch bag
- Bright crayons or markers
- Scrap paper or soft cotton balls
- One piece of colorful yarn
Step 1: Draw the Face
Lay your paper bag flat on a table. Make sure the smooth side faces up.
Use your markers to draw a funny face. Draw two big eyes near the top of the bag.
Add a round nose and a big, happy smile. You can draw rosy cheeks and silly hair, too!
Step 2: Stuff the Bag
Carefully open the top of the paper bag. Slide your hand inside to make room.
Take some scrap paper and roll it into loose balls. Push the paper balls deep inside the bag.
Add more paper until the bag feels plump and round. Do not push too hard, or the bag might rip!
Step 3: Tie the Bottom
Pinch the open end of the bag with your fingers. Squeeze the paper together tightly.
Wrap a piece of bright yarn around the pinched paper. Tie the yarn into a firm, tight knot.
You can make a pretty bow at the end. Ask an adult for help if tying is tricky.
