Attention Fifth-Grade Families and Students of Maple Creek Elementary:

We are excited to share that our fifth-grade engineering and design projects are ready for their public debut. Over the past four weeks, students have reimagined our shared learning spaces, building scaled models and digital blueprints to improve classroom comfort, lighting, and organization. Because of a scheduling conflict with the district music rehearsal in the main auditorium, we have reorganized the date, time, and location for the Fifth-Grade Classroom Design Showcase.

The Need for a Change

Originally, the showcase was planned as an evening session on Thursday, October 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. However, the fifth- and sixth-grade concert band requires that space for their dress rehearsal on Thursday night. To prevent any overlapping noise or crowded hallways, our team has moved the showcase to Friday morning instead. This allows our young designers to present in a quiet, spacious environment where families can freely browse every display.

Summary of Changes: Old vs. New Arrangement
