Do you love fun stories? Books can take you on wild adventures! Come celebrate reading with your friends and family at a special event.
When: Tuesday, September 8 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Where: Maplewood Public Library and Town Green Cost: Free for everyone!
There will be lots of fun things to do all day long:
- Book Swap: Bring up to five gently used books from home. You can trade them for new books to take home for free!
- Comic Workshop: Make your own comic strips at 11:00 a.m. Friendly artists will teach you how to draw cool characters.
- Mystery Reader Stage: Sit under the big tent and listen to surprise guests. Local helpers like firefighters and teachers will read their favorite books out loud.
- Clue Hunt: Play a detective game inside the library. Solve simple riddles to find a secret treasure box filled with stickers and bookmarks!
Special Gift: The first 100 students to walk through the gate will get a free canvas bag! Inside the bag, you will find a brand new notebook and a mystery book.
