Dear School Principal,
I am writing to you about the books in our school library. I think the students should help pick the books!
Right now, only the teachers and librarians pick the books. But we are the ones reading them. We know what kinds of stories we like.
If we get to help pick the books, more kids will read. We can find books about our favorite things. We can find books that are fun and interesting.
It would also teach us to make good choices. We can learn about what makes a good book. We can share our ideas with each other.
I think it is fair that we help choose. We should have a say in what we read. It is our library too.
Please think about letting students help pick the books. It will make our library better for everyone.
Thank you for listening.
Sincerely,
Mason Reed
