More Art for Us!

Dear Principal Smith,

I am writing to you because I think our school should have more art classes. I am a student in the second grade. I love to draw and paint!

Art is very important. It helps us learn about colors and shapes. We can use our imaginations. We can make our own creations.

Art can help us in other subjects too. Drawing can help with writing. Painting can help with understanding science. When we make art, we learn to solve problems.

More art classes would make our school a happier place. Art can make us feel good. We can share our art with our families. Our families would be proud.

Please think about adding more art classes. It would be good for all students. Thank you for reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Lily
