Pip was a tiny yellow chick. He lived in a warm barn with his mother.
Today was a very big day for Pip. He wanted to see the wide world outside.
Pip took one small step out of the door. The sun felt warm on his soft feathers.
The grass was tall and very green. It felt ticklish on his little feet.
He saw a bright blue butterfly in the air. The butterfly flew up and down.
Pip tried to jump and catch it. He landed in the soft dirt with a tiny hop.
He walked to a big blue pond. The water was clear and cool.
Pip saw his own face in the water. He let out a happy little peep.
A big red cow stood by the fence. The cow said a loud "moo" to him.
Pip was a bit scared at first. Then he saw the cow was just eating grass.
Pip found a shiny red apple on the ground. He took a tiny peck at it.
The apple tasted sweet and very good. He liked the taste of the red fruit.
The wind blew through the tall trees. The leaves made a soft whispering sound.
Pip felt like a brave little bird. He loved his first trip outside.
He saw many new colors today. He saw red, blue, green, and yellow.
The world was a very big place. Pip was glad to be a part of it.
Pip found a small rock to sit on. He looked at the flowers in the field.
They were purple and white and orange. They smelled very nice in the wind.
Soon the sun began to go down. The sky turned a pretty pink and orange color.
Pip walked back to the warm barn. He was ready for a long nap.
His mother was waiting for him. She was glad to see her little chick.
She tucked him under her warm wing. Pip felt very warm and happy.
Pip closed his eyes and felt safe. He dreamed about the blue butterfly.
He could not wait to explore more tomorrow. The world was a fun place.
