Characters:

  • HEADMASTER SHANNON: Wise, warm leader of Strawgoh Academy.
  • HOLDEN: Eighteen-year-old Seeker and Lions team captain, preparing for graduation.
  • DRAKE: Seventeen-year-old Chaser and Holden's energetic, loyal best friend.
  • SAM: Sixteen-year-old brilliant and analytical magical scholar.
  • ZACH: Fifteen-year-old dependable Beater with steady nerves.
  • LIRA: Fourteen-year-old tactical prodigy with fierce determination.

Act I: The Gathering Storm

HEADMASTER SHANNON: (Standing at the podium in the great arched hall of Strawgoh Academy) Welcome, students. Today, our joy is tempered by grave tidings. The ancient balance between our realm and the heavens has fractured. The master lightning bolt of Zeus has been taken from the celestial citadel.

HOLDEN: Stolen? Sir, who could possess the power to slip past the storm guardians?

SAM: (Consulting a glowing parchment scroll) The energy signatures recorded in the upper atmosphere point to dark elemental sorcery. It matches the magical frequency of Jax, our former classmate who turned his back on Strawgoh last winter.

DRAKE: Jax always envied the Lions. He claimed our flying tactics were outdated and that true power lay beyond ancient treaties.

LIRA: If Jax harnesses the bolt's kinetic charge, he will not just challenge the gods—he will tear the sky apart.

ZACH: Our sky-defense barriers cannot withstand pure thunder. We have to intercept him before he stabilizes the core.

HEADMASTER SHANNON: Exactly. Zeus and Poseidon have granted our academy safe passage through the storm frontiers. Holden, as Lions captain, I entrust this final quest to you and your crew. Bring honor to Strawgoh and restore peace to the heavens.

HOLDEN: We will not fail you, Headmaster. Lions, grab your enchanted brooms and flight gear!

Act II: The Edge of the Tempest

DRAKE: (Shouting over howling wind effects) The air currents are brutal out here! I cannot keep my broom level!

ZACH: (Gripping his Beater bat, deflecting a rogue surge of lightning) Stay tight in formation! I will knock away the ambient arcs. Holden, do you see him?

HOLDEN: Look ahead on that jagged volcanic ridge! It is Jax! And he has summoned Collin, the crimson storm dragon!

SAM: (Analyzing the creature from afar) Collin has eight jagged horns and six armor-spikes down his spine! Do not engage the dragon with raw force. His scales absorb heat, but cold ocean mist neutralizes his flame sacs!

LIRA: That is where Poseidon's blessing comes in! Drake, Zach, run a flanking maneuver to draw Jax's attention. Holden and I will channel the tidal mist through our speed runes!

DRAKE: Consider him distracted! Hey, Jax! Your broom work is still as clumsy as your first year in remedial charms!

ZACH: (Swinging his heavy bat at an incoming blast) Holden, now! The dragon is turning toward Drake!

LIRA: Channelling the surge! Three, two, one—release!

HOLDEN: (Diving at breakneck speed) I have the angle! Collin's fire is extinguished by the mist. Jax has lost his grip on the vault casing!

DRAKE: Reach for it, Holden! Snag it like the golden marker in Hiddique!

HOLDEN: (Reaching out mid-dive) Got it! The lightning bolt is secured!

SAM: The celestial storm is calming. Jax is retreating into the clouds, and Collin is descending peacefully to the valley. The sky is restored!

Act III: The Championship Match

HEADMASTER SHANNON: (Voice echoing over the stadium loudspeakers) Welcome back to Strawgoh Arena! Following their heroic return from Mount Olympus, the Lions take the sky for the Hiddique Championship finals!

LIRA: The opposing team is setting a heavy defensive wall around the scoring rings. Drake, run the crimson crossing route!

DRAKE: On it! Zach, clear me an open lane through their center blockers!

ZACH: Lane cleared! Take the shot, Drake!

DRAKE: (Tossing the sphere through the golden hoop) That is thirty points for the Lions!

SAM: The golden target marker has appeared near the eastern cloud bank! Holden, it is diving toward the pitch floor!

HOLDEN: (Leaning forward on his broom handle) This is my last flight in this jersey. I am not letting it go!

LIRA: Look at that acceleration! He is breaking the academy velocity record!

HOLDEN: (Catching the marker cleanly in his hand) Caught! Match over!

HEADMASTER SHANNON: The Lions win! With this victory, the Lions secure their eighth consecutive Hiddique Cup and the school's one-hundred-and-third House Cup!

Act IV: The Farewell Circle

HEADMASTER SHANNON: (Gathering the entire school around the courtyard fountain) Today we celebrate triumph, but we also mark a momentous transition. Holden, step forward.

HOLDEN: (Holding the twin silver trophies) Thank you, Headmaster. But these victories do not belong to me alone. They belong to every flyer, scholar, and friend who stood by my side.

DRAKE: Strawgoh will not be the same without you in the lead position, Captain. Who is going to keep me from breaking flying rules during practice?

SAM: Your leadership taught us how to combine ancient magical theory with real-world courage. That legacy stays with us.

ZACH: Every time I swing a bat on the field, I will remember the steady nerve you showed against the storm dragon.

LIRA: You proved that tactical skill means nothing without trust in your team. We will defend the House Cup next year in your honor.

HEADMASTER SHANNON: A true leader leaves behind not just trophies, but successors who are ready to fly higher than before. Holden of the Lions, as you step beyond our gates into the wider world, know that Strawgoh Academy will always be your home. Raise your brooms, students, for our captain!

ALL: For the Lions! For Strawgoh!
