Holden: (Calling out to the crowd of students) Alright, everyone! Welcome to the annual Lions Hiddique tryouts! As team captain, I expect full focus today. Hiddique requires speed, endurance, and sharp eyes on your flying broomsticks.

Drake: You heard Captain Holden! Keep your eyes on the game ball and watch out for incoming flying hazards!

Lyra: Don't stress out, newcomers! We were all beginners once. Welcome to Strawgoh! My name is Lyra, and we’re thrilled to have you here.

Zach: Thanks, Lyra. I’m Zach. I’ve practiced maneuver maneuvers all summer, but I’ve never played in an official arena before.

Holden: Well, Zach, let’s see what you’ve got. Take that heavy padded bat and deflect those incoming training spheres.

( Zach mounts his broomstick, flies upward, and cleanly strikes a stray training orb with his bat. )

Sam: Wow, look at that trajectory! According to my calculations, Zach hit that orb at a forty-five-degree angle with maximum force. That’s top-tier Beater material!

Holden: Impressive reaction time, Zach. You’ve just earned yourself a starting position as a Lions Beater. Welcome to the squad!

Headmaster Shannon: (Stepping forward from the sidelines) Magnificent flying, students. Remember, skill is essential, but sportsmanship and loyalty to your house are what truly define a champion at Strawgoh. Tomorrow night is the final match against the Snakes for the Hiddique Cup, and the winner will also secure the prestigious House Cup!

SCENE 2: Whispers near the Storage Vaults

( Setting: Late at night in the chilly, underground corridor near the Lions' equipment freezer storage room. )

Lyra: (Whispering to herself) I forgot my favorite gloves in the deep freezer vault after practice. I better grab them before tomorrow's big match.

( A heavy, metallic clanking noise echoes through the stone hallway. )

Lyra: What was that? Hello? Is someone in the equipment room?

( Shadows shift along the stone wall, and a heavy iron door creaks open. )

Lyra: Hey! What are you doing near our vault? Wait—oh no! The door is closing!

( The heavy iron door slams shut, locking with a loud click. Lyra manages to pull out her communication stone before it seals completely. )

Lyra: (Into the stone) Holden, if you can hear this, someone locked me in the sub-level storage beneath the arena! Be careful—

SCENE 3: The Search

( Setting: The main courtyard of Strawgoh Academy. Holden is reviewing tactics when his communication stone glows. )

Holden: Lyra? Lyra, come in! The signal cut out. She was investigating a strange sound near the Lions' equipment freezer!

( Holden rushes through the dimly lit stone corridors down to the lower level. )

Holden: Lyra! Are you down here?

( A strange magical latch snaps shut behind Holden, locking him in a concealed passage adjacent to the equipment room. )

Holden: (Pounding on the reinforced stone) Trapped! Someone engineered a trap to sideline us before the finals!

SCENE 4: The Rescue Operation

( Setting: The Lions' common room, an hour later. Sam, Zach, and Drake gather around a glowing parchment map. )

Sam: Holden and Lyra have been gone far too long. Look at this atmospheric map of Strawgoh—there are sudden pressure shifts in the subterranean storage wing.

Drake: Do you think they were ambushed before the big match?

Zach: Lyra was super welcoming to me on my first day. There’s no way we’re letting them sit trapped while the match starts without them!

Sam: Follow me. I traced the ancient floor plan of the academy. There’s a secret bypass mechanism hidden behind the stone wall near the ice storage.

( The three students hurry down to the dark storage basement. Sam inspects a series of glowing runes on the wall. )

Sam: The mechanism uses a tri-lever system. Zach, use your strength to hold the outer latch. Drake, hit the middle release valve!

Zach: Got it! Pulling with all my strength!

Drake: Releasing the valve now!

( The wall swivels open, revealing Holden and Lyra inside the hidden chamber. )

Holden: You three found us! Brilliant work, Sam! Great hustle, Zach and Drake!

Lyra: Thank goodness! Now let’s get up to the pitch before the referee blows the starting whistle!

SCENE 5: The Hiddique Finals

( Setting: The stadium pitch. Thousands of roaring spectators fill the towering stands under a bright sunny sky. )

Headmaster Shannon: (Voice amplified across the stadium) Welcome, students, faculty, and honored guests, to the Hiddique Cup Finals! Let the match between the Lions and the Snakes commence!

( The whistle sounds, and brooms zoom into the air. )

Drake: (Flying fast) I’ve got the primary scoring ball! Passing it over to the left wing!

Zach: (Swinging his bat) incoming hazard clear! Fly straight, Drake! Shoot for the top hoop!

Drake: (Sunk it!) Fifty points for the Lions!

Lyra: Great defense, Zach! Keep their offensive players away from our goalie!

Holden: (Hovering high above the pitch, scanning the field) I need to find the Volt-Wing before the Snakes take the lead. Golden glimmer... where is it...

Sam: (Shouting from the sidelines) Holden! Watch the cloud layer at thirty degrees north! The electromagnetic current is spiking!

Holden: (Spotting a brilliant flash of golden light) There it is! The Volt-Wing!

( Holden dives his broomstick into a rapid steep descent, darting past flying obstacles. )

Holden: Almost there... just a few more inches!

( Holden stretches out his hand and securely snatches the fast-fluttering golden Volt-Wing out of the air. )

Headmaster Shannon: (Announcing) Holden catches the Volt-Wing! The Lions win the match and claim the Hiddique Cup!

( The crowd explodes into cheers. )

Headmaster Shannon: (Presenting two glowing trophies) For exceptional bravery off the field and brilliant teamwork on it, I present both the Hiddique Cup and the Strawgoh House Cup to Holden and the Lions!

Holden: (Raising the trophy high alongside Lyra, Zach, Sam, and Drake) We couldn't have done it without every single member of this team! Go Lions!
