Winnie is a soft, black cat. He lives in a house with a red door.

Winnie has a very grumpy face today. His eyebrows are pulled down low.

His mouth is in a flat line. He looks like he wants to hiss.

A little girl walks by the house. "That cat looks scary," she says.

A little boy hides behind his mom. "I think that cat is mad," he says.

But Winnie is not mad at all. Winnie is a very friendly cat.

Winnie is just having a hard day. He lost his tiny, round glasses.

Winnie needs his glasses to see the world. The world looks like a fuzzy cloud today.

Winnie walks to the kitchen for a snack. He squints his eyes very, very hard.

He wants to see where his bowl is. Squinting makes him look very mean.

"Where did I put them?" Winnie asks. He looks under the kitchen table.

He feels around with his fuzzy paws. He only finds a dusty old toy.

Winnie walks to the living room. He trips over a colorful rug.

"Ouch," Winnie purrs sadly. Everything is still very blurry.

He squints even harder to see the stairs. Now he looks like the grumpiest cat ever.

Winnie climbs up on the soft sofa. He looks between the big pillows.

He feels something cold and smooth. He pulls it out with his teeth.

It is his pair of tiny cat-glasses! They have silver frames and clear glass.

Winnie puts the glasses on his ears. He slides them down to his nose.

Suddenly, the world is sharp and bright. He can see the sun on the floor.

Winnie lets out a happy sigh. He stops squinting his big green eyes.

His face looks soft and kind again. He looks like a cat who wants a hug.

The children walk by the house again. They see Winnie sitting on the porch.

"Look!" the little girl shouts. "The cat is wearing tiny glasses!"

"He looks so cute and happy," says the boy. Winnie purrs and wiggles his tail.

He is glad to have his glasses back. He is glad to see his friends clearly.
