Captain Mira and the Island Treasure
Captain Mira adjusted her bright red scarf against the morning breeze. Her deep blue coat brushed against the tall beach grass as she stepped onto the quiet shore of the sandy island. Across the shimmering bay, a red-and-white striped lighthouse stood tall against the pale sky, its glass lantern catching the early sunlight.
Mira was not searching for gold or battles. Instead, she was an explorer who mapped forgotten shores and studied coastal secrets. Today, she held an old, faded chart marked with a curious spiral symbol right in the center of the beach.
As she knelt on the warm sand, a tiny orange crab scuttled out from beneath a piece of driftwood. The little creature stopped, lifted its small claws, and clicked them softly together. Then, it scurried five paces toward a ring of smooth gray stones and began tapping the sand rhythmically.
"What have you spotted, little friend?" Mira whispered, leaning in closer.
She looked carefully at the ground. At first glance, the sand appeared completely undisturbed. But when she followed the crab's steady gaze, Mira noticed something peculiar: the grains formed a faint circular pattern, packed slightly firmer than the rest of the beach. Working together, Mira used her hands and the crab used its busy legs to gently scoop away the loose sand.
