Sam: Welcome to our show, Christmas Traditions Live! Today, we are sharing the fun ways families celebrate Christmas.

Mia: Every family has special things they do together. Some traditions are old, and some are new!

Leo: In my family, we make bright paper lanterns. We hang them up to bring warm light to winter nights.

Ella: In my family, we love music. We sing holiday songs for our neighbors and share warm spiced cider.

Sam: That sounds lovely! Mia, what does your family do for the holidays?

Mia: My family makes sweet holiday bread and cinnamon cookies. The whole kitchen smells like sugar and spice.

Leo: We also make paper stars to put in our windows. Making them together is the best part.

Ella: My grandmother reads us a special holiday story by the fire. We all wear matching cozy pajamas!

Sam: In my house, we write cards to say thank you to our helpers in town. We give them to the bus drivers and mail carriers.

Mia: It sounds like all of our traditions have one big thing in common.
