How to Make a Paper Bag Tree
You can make your own fall tree with just a paper bag. It looks like a real tree with twisty branches.
First, gather your craft supplies. You need one brown paper lunch bag. You also need safety scissors and glue. Get red, orange, and yellow paper for the leaves.
Next, open the paper bag. Stand the bag up flat on your table. Use your scissors to cut strips from the open top. Cut down toward the middle of the bag. Stop cutting halfway down.
Now, hold the bottom of the bag flat. Twist the middle part of the bag tightly. This twisted part is your tree trunk.
Then, make the branches. Twist each strip of paper at the top. Twist them in different directions. Some can point up, and some can point out.
After that, make the fall leaves. Tear or cut small leaf shapes from your colored paper. Use bright red, yellow, and orange scraps.
Finally, add the leaves to your tree. Put a dot of glue on each paper leaf. Press the leaves onto the branches. Set your paper tree on a shelf to dry and enjoy.
