Dear Diary,
Today was a very special day. My class went on a field trip! We took a big yellow bus to Cincinnati. We went to see the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
When we got there, I saw a big museum by the river. Inside, we learned about brave people from long ago. They wanted to help everyone be free.
We saw a real wooden cabin inside the building. It was very old. People used to hide in it on their journey to safety. It made me think about how brave they were.
Our guide showed us a map of the night sky. Long ago, people looked for the North Star to guide them. The star showed them which way to go.
I learned that we can all help each other today by being kind. I loved my trip to the Freedom Center!
