What Information Is Sent When I Use an AI Feature?
Understand what an AI request needs and where to find the governing privacy terms.
When you use an AI feature, PicoBuddy sends the service performing that request the information it needs to create or review the requested material. Depending on the feature, this can include your topic or instructions, selected settings, and content you ask PicoBuddy to work with.
Do not put unnecessary personal or sensitive information in prompts or generated materials. For supported features using a saved learner, PicoBuddy is designed to replace known learner names with a temporary placeholder before sending the request to the AI provider.
The current Privacy Policy describes the purposes, provider categories, and privacy choices that govern this processing. For a child using kid access, separate protections and adult controls apply. See Is Student Data Safe? and What Student Data Does PicoBuddy Store?.
