Learner profiles and kid access

Learner profiles belong under an adult account

An adult account holder can create a learner profile to organize activities and progress. A profile can contain a label or nickname, a preset avatar, grade or level, interests and preferences, assigned practice paths, activity history, answers, scores, and completion information.

A nickname, initials, or profile code can still be personal data when the adult knows which learner it represents. Use a nickname or non-identifying label where practical. Do not enter a child's email address, exact date of birth, contact details, photo, voice, health information, diagnosis, or school record.

Kid access is not a consumer account

An adult can create limited kid access for a learner. It does not include a child email address, password, subscription, billing profile, or ordinary account settings.

Access links, QR codes, pairing codes, and signed-in devices should be treated like keys:

• share them only with the intended learner;
• reset access if a link or code is shared accidentally;
• remove old devices when they should no longer have access.

The adult account holder can see and manage the learner profile and associated results. Deleting a learner profile closes its kid access, but some linked activity records may require a separate deletion request while PicoBuddy completes its deletion tooling.
