How to manage child profiles and extra places

Understand included child places, add capacity, and check what happens when your allowance changes.

Updated 8/25/2026 child places, profiles, extra child, capacity, downgrade

Each child or student uses a profile under an adult account. A child place is the account capacity for that learner's own access.

Check your available places

Open My Library and select Children to see your available capacity. For the current number of included places and options for adding more, see Pricing.

PicoBuddy Print focuses on printable materials. It does not add extra child places or expand online practice access.

Add another place

  1. Open My Library and select Children.
  2. Review the capacity message.
  3. Choose Add a child when the additional-place purchase option is offered.
  4. Review the price, quantity, billing interval, and renewal terms before paying.
  5. After payment is confirmed, return to Children and check the updated capacity.

If your capacity becomes lower

A downgrade or the end of a paid place does not automatically delete learner profiles and their results. Access beyond the available capacity can pause. Review the capacity message before changing learner access.

Buying a place does not turn on child AI. Its separate parent or guardian confirmation still applies.
